Well done to Liverpool. They fought to come back from some scatty play. They were persistent. Barca lost composure, fluidity and rhythm when Liverpool played their way back in. The back four left Valdes to defend the goal alone for a lot of the second half. Dinho was heavily marked but he can turn a game on a dime so I was not surprised to see that, it should have been anticipated. They won't lie down though. I expect them to learn from mistakes today. They are a good side and good sides adjust after a defeat. Liverpool played well however and are another side who have not played to their potential. This may be what they need to kick start themselves. Certainly makes the second leg interesting.

I don't like Liverpool or Barca, but in the UEFA, I'd rather see Liverpool beat Barca after last year. However, if Barca plays their best in the second leg it may be difficult for Liverpool to stop them.

that was a nice game. liverpool will surely advance to the next round, now that they have two valuable away goals. but the referee was so sensitive, he awarded a free kick everytime a player fell to the ground
