Assuming we could evolve asexual reproduction, I would be against it. Evolutionary history has shown time and time again that it is most beneficial to reproduce sexually. Many dominantly asexual lineages have sexual phases every few generations, probably to facilitiate recombination and garner its many advantages. The ability granted by this to recombine our alleles and introduce new genetic variants helps us adapt and allows us to create new combinations. Favorable alleles are more easily and quickly able to spread throughout populations.
For the sake of our future, I am pro sex!

Sexual reproduction is a great thing. It mixes up the gene pool, preserves rare traits which just may come in handy the next time an asteroid smashes into Earth and threatens to destroy all life forms, and gosh it can be satisfying when done right!

i became questioning approximately this each week or 2 in the past. i became questioning approximately how contained sooner or later as quickly as we are choosing the genes of youngsters formerly they're born (like contained in the action picture Gattaca) then we are able to start to tinker with humanity and duplicate and that i'll guess that finally we are able to come to a decision to make humanity one gender and reason ourselves to be waiting to reproduce asexually. and such as you mentioned, there'll be MANY advantages of certainly one of those society. i think of one gender that reproduces asexually is the way forward for humanity. ultimate needs :)

There's no such thing as asexual human reproduction. In order to conceive a child, you must have male sperm and a female egg.

No, but I don't see how asexual people reproduce if they are not interested in sex rather having a sex-free relationship.

only in special cases (health reasons etc.) it seems to me that we r becoming more and more dehumanized as time passing by so i don`t see why should we add on list something that make us less human and less natural
