Because the blood comes from the uterus, not the fallopian tubes. Getting your tubes tied just blocks the eggs from getting to the uterus. A full hysterectomy (removal of all "girl parts") would stop a period.

Because your mestrual flow comes from your cervix/uterus not from your fallopian tubes. Your Fallopian tubes are there to transport an egg for fertilization, which is why women get their tubes tied, to prevent pregnancy. Your uterus is there to house the fertilized egg until it grows into a full born child.

Because even though the woman will not release anymore eggs, her Uterus still "prepares" each month for a Pregnancy. When a woman has her period, the blood is the uterine lining that has built up to nourish any fertilized egg that may attach itself.

Even with your tubes tied your body is still producing eggs.

It involves the uterus shedding it's lining, not so much the ovaries and eggs.
