1. They had amazing talent.
2. They were all good looking.
3. They were new and fresh.
4. They had matching suits.

6. They were like brothers.
7. They had many Number One songs.
8. They were the best band ever and still are.
Also, they aren't the same as boy bands such as Backstreet Boys, N'SYNC, and all those losers. They were a pop/rock band. I love the Beatles.

They became popular because they, like Elvis, like the Stones and other white groups played black music. They had long hair and tight pants, that was the white kids form of rebellion then. The Beatles and the others do have great music but they were inspired by black blues and soul musicians. Over seas it has always been much more integrated, therefore, Chuck Berry and other music greats had a strong impact in Europe, probably flet more there than here in America to this day.

Because they're the greatest band ever. Why is Justin Timberlake so popular even in other countries? Its not necessarily where you're from, if the music's good people will listen. Thus, the Beatles made great music and many loved them (and still do!).

Because there were no great R&R bands in the U.S. in the early 1960's. It was British guys who started the bands and created their own music based on R&B and R&R in the late 1950's. British bands were so new and unique to Americans. It was their original music that made them popular in the U.S. in addition to their incredible talents, good looks (not all of them), twisted jokes, the mushroom hair and whatever American kids were looking for back then.
The times were changing; those British guys knew it intuitively.

They wernt no 'boy band' I dont seeing any boybands playing gutairs, drums, are anything. They were so popular because they wrote some of the greastest songs of al-time.Their music was very ecceltic ranging from rockabilly to hard rock to psycheldelia. Also They influence later bands like floyed and U2.
