It's about an innocent barber (Sweeney Todd) who wants revenge on a man who put him in jail for 25 years. He finds out that his beautiful wife has died and the judge took their daughter (Joanna). After his release he meets a baker (Miss Lovett) who knows of his past. She offers him a home/barber shop above her bakery where she makes "meat pies". Sweeneey Todd wants to bring back his daughter by murdering the judge. Todd ends up killing many men who come to his barber shop for practice, then drops their body down a trap door in the floor to Lovett's bakery to make meat pies out of them so as not to waste the "meat".
