Oh who cares, I am a mental health nurse and I work in a rehab for both the rich famous and the not so, and all the staff groan when we hear someone famous is coming as they are not committed to the programme and many admit coming in as a PR thing, while I work with people who have had noting but big drug problems now are working, going to college, got a place to stay and I am proud of them...

I think Britney's suffering from a bad case of suicidal stubborness. She desperately needs help, but her inflated ego won't allow anyone to tell her what to do, so she skips out of rehab rather than get the treatment she needs. I don't think her music career will ever recover from this and what will she do without that?

She probably couldn't handle it. Few celebrities can go through the things many normal people do. Have you seen that Fame Game show on VH1? The people live in the A-list part of a building (which is high class celeb stuff) until they're demoted to the B-list part (which is like a normal person's life). A bunch of the celebs were freaking out because they had to eat hot dogs and drink coke. They can't hack it.

I imagine it's very hard for any adict to receive addiction help. Many people go in and out of rehab quite a few times. It seems to me that she's probably pretty seriously into the addiction at this point and just hasn't hit bottom yet.

Britney is a young woman with serious behaviour issues. She needs good mental health help. Just hope that she wakes up before her career is washed up before she reaches 30 years old!

who really cares "rehab" is a joke for stars say or do something someone doesnt like and Ill go to rehab and everything will be ok

Seriously though - there's no way to know, but it looks like she's dealing with some kind of anxiety and doesn't know what to do about it. What she needs to do is drop out of sight and work with a professional to figure out what her problem is, without a pile of photographers following her around.

attention, if she really wanted help she'd pay for a therapist in private. I don't understand why everyone feels sorry for her, she doesn't have to work, she is in her mid twenties and she has more money and security than most people have in a lifetime. She needs to get over herself
