I have a theory and I want to see how everyone feels about it. I was always good at rollerblading, and I picked up ice skating and skiing really easily, but I really struggled with skateboarding and snowboarding. Other people find boarding easier than skiing and skating. So my theory is one person will be good at sports where their feet forward (skating and skiing) and another is better when their feet are parallel to each other but almost perpendicular to the direction they are going. What do you think?

i thought about this because i used to rollerblade but now i skateboard and still ski and i relize that it is kind of weird sometimes with the foot positions. they are both fun though!

In my opinion, that has little factor in how people board or blade. It's all about how quickly you adjust and how well you balance.
