I have two third graders, both are getting ready to do science projects.....got any ideas?? They have to do most of the work so it can't be to hard. And please no live animal projects. I can handle anything else.

try making them figure out the hardness of water. i know it sounds harrd but its not. just get 3 types of water like distilled, filtered ect. then count the drops of soap u put inside the each of them. then shake it and find out which one makes the most bubbles.
