Stephano died and they did a DNA test. Then John (who knew he was cremated adn headed up the DNA test) recently looked in the coffin to find it empty (But there was no coffin when he died.. his body is in an urn).
Now Mimi's mom killed her dad. But Mimi's dad raped someone and the victim murdered him years ago.
I am remembering wrong? I am confused....

Anyway, as far as I know Days has a new head writer and obviously doesn't keep up with the past story lines. I guess they are trying to revive the show and Stephano is the way they are going with it. I think its time to try something new. As for Mimi's dad I think you are right and I don't get how he could have been murdered twice but this is a soap opera and I guess anything is possible. No one ever really dies, they just have to wait to be revived AGAIN!!

Let me try to sort this out for you.
They did a DNA test on the ashes in the urn and turned out it wasn't Stephano. So of course he's not dead yet. Here is my prediction....he will die at the same time that Sammi has E.J.'s baby. It will be like the Phoenix rising again.
Mimi's dad didn't rape anyone. That was Nicole Walker's dad and he raped Jan Spears.

They have been hinting at Setphano being alive for years. Tony told everyone on Captive Island that he was alive, then they acted like he was not.
I have not watched long enough to know what happened to Mimi's dad- but I think you are getting him confused with Nicole's dad? Didn't Nicole's dad Rape Jan Spears? And then Jan killed him. Seems like I remember Jan talking to Nicole about that while they were killing Victor and Kidnapping Shawn.
What I would worry more about is why Max was dating Stephanie and Chelsea- they are both his nieces. Sure he is adopted, but still.

yeah, a little confused. Brandon and Nichole's dad was the one who did the raping you are referring to.
John did have a piece of bone from the skeleton from the island Melas (Salem spelled backward) that Tony claimed to be his father. John brought it back, the test proved that it was not Stefano.

You are right about Stefano. As for Mimis Dad I havent heard or seen him in years, not since they were homeless when Mimi was a teenager.
I think it was Billies dad who raped her and he was murdered, not Mimi's father.

I am not a couch potato so I don't watch soap operas and I think t.v. is nothing but junk junk junk and we should all read read read more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have my own day in this life everyday and I'll be if I'm going to lay or sit down watching these aimless and malnourished forms of entertainment. Hah, I get more pleasure in entertainment when I watch the ducks swimming over at the park, no parking on the dance floor.
