Replace the ink cartridge.

If its an ink jet printer it can be either the nozzles are clogged or the ink is running low.

If its a laser printer it's more than likely low toner condition.

For the ink jet -run the utility to check ink levels then run cleaning process.

If its laser you can pull out the toner cartridge and shake it up that should get you 10-15 more copies before you must replace it.

time to purchase a new cartridge. you can try taking cartridge out, shaking and then putting it back in to see if that helps.
