I want to know how other people feel about this.

Do you consider making friends easy or hard? Why?

Why do you think someone would feel the opposite way?

What would you do if you found/find making friends difficult?

What do you do when you meet someone who is a loner?

What percentage would use say fit into each category (it's easy/it's hard)?

Sorry there's so many questions.

Thankyou for your answers.

the % one is important because I want to see if you think that others feel the same way you do.

Making friends is very, very difficult.
We better realize first what is a friend and how to behave as a friend, then go ahead as a friend to all people, then many will respond to our friendship.
I understand friendship as love, humility, sincerity, cooperation, sharing, encouraging, forgiving, judging not...We require these qualities from ourself, not from our friends. We will have friends from people of all ages, not only from our peers. Even our parents, our relatives, our neighbours...will become our friends. Pray for your success.

I consider making friend hard because you have to put your self out there to be seen and to meet new people. Sometime during that process you have to step out of you comfort zone. I think people you feel the opposite way are very sociable. When I meet a loner, I usually feel bad and then through the months and years spent together you become friends. I think the percentage of it is hard, would be 85% because it really takes you out of your comfort zone and then in the end when you are still bff several years later, you never regret that decision. Thank you for letting me answer you question. Have a great day!! :)

If I meet the right type of person I can make a friend easy, I'm not picky about what type of friends I have, I'm mostly a loner though.
I think if someone says it's hard to make friends they either really shy or picky

Acquaintances, very easy

Real friends that I trust, very hard

Many people struggle to make friends, so in that respect you are not a loner, I am very outgoing and my wife is very shy, she feels insecure and worries too much that people will not like her or they will only end up hurting her in the end.

Since I consider so few people true friends I don't care what many people think. So I have no problem approaching and making acquaintances.

sorry for the ramble I hope this helps.

1. hard because Im not a kid anymore and I have a family and school, so I don't get out much.

2. because they were young, no attachments, no responsibilities that keep them from socializing.

3.I dont know that I know anyone that is a "loner". Most of the people I know are just as busy as I am with jobs, family etc.

4.no idea.

Yes, I consider making friends easy. I do it all the time, at work, the post office, grocery store, concerts.

But this is a recent development. Before, I used to be shy, but as I got older, I got over it.

I think it depends on your rapport with people. Some people easily click with others, especially if they have easily recognizable commonality. Some people's personalities differ; therefore, a shy person would find it difficult to make friends and an outgoing person would find it much easier.

I think making friends is hard, because of what I define as a friend. I have met alot of aquaintences throughout my life but I only have a couple of "friends".
