Someone has called my house twice today, leaving strange messages - one indicating they know where I leave. I remember once seeing a website where you can enter a phone number and it could tell you the name of who it is. Does anyone know this website? Thanks.

Note the date and EXACT time of the call, and you can report it to the phone company.

Some phone companies will allow you to *69 or there is another code that will register a number as a possible hostile caller. I'll look it up and post.

The code for tracing is *57. This will work, even if *69 does not. However, this will have to be reported to the phone company and police. you will not directly be given the information.

I would suggest getting caller ID and disallowing blocked/private IDs.

If the call is threatening , call your local police. They can get the number from the phone company more easily than you can.

There are several reverse phone lookups. one is www.whitepages.com.

if you have an answering machine , use it to record the message.

good luck.

you could just call the number back right after they call, you could order caller id and write down the number, or u could trace the call (difficult)
