Why do good-looking girls from good families come to join films in Mumbai in spite of it's Bad Reputation?

All sorts of debauch persons with little moral-integrity have come to rule the film-industry because of their money-power. As a result we read all sorts of reports of these aspiring-starlets getting battered by them in various ways every now and then . Examples, Preeti Jain Vs Madhur Bhandarkar, Flora Saini Vs Gaurang Doshi, Kangana Ranaut Vs Aditya Pancholi.
Inspite of knowing very well what to expect in the Film Industry, what is the lure that still drives many of these girls, well-educated and from decent families towards it even from far-flung places in India and abroad?

Every Career has its own Pitfalls...however I do accept that Casting Couch is a big problem that plagues Bollywood and people before taking the plunge should take in to due consideration the PRO'S & the CON'S, may be acting schools and proper career counselling may reap dividends in this direction now having said that the BIG SHOTS of BOLLYWOOD should take an initiative to cleanse the malaise and make it easy for the new breed trying to get in to the industry...thats about it buddy...THANK YOU for helping me in garnering 2 points via your question....Keep Smiling..ADIOS AMIGOS....Krish!!

Those girls do act in movies to earn money, & if anyone face any kind of problem which is not really acceptable & if the person is in reality belongs to any good family then she/ he will definately Quit ..... doing all this ...... that profession

But if any person works in this industry & face many problems but Still the person continue in this proffession Then it's completely understood that "the Person" wants fame & money then more money & "ONLY MONEY"................

As many Actor & Actressess said that they had face many problems & they know HOW to tackle with all those difficult situations, therefore, they are continuing in this profession............

I think that comment has been passed by many actressess & those all are in TOP Position like Preity Zinta & etc... etc...

All these actressess & even Male Actors have to face many problems..........

Quick Buck and instant fame. You should also note that the time has changed. Earlier, the money of the actress was totally swindled by her family and she will suffer at the end of her carrier. Nowadays, actresses do not allow even their parents to take the money and they have become intelligent to have the control over the affairs. So, there is no wrong in becoming an actress.

The antagonist in Transporter 2 had a hot girlfriend who ran around in her undies, got a kick out of killing and flirting with the hero. Then there was Monica Bellucci who played the flirtacious, voluptious wife of the MerolVingian. Niiiiiice! its not always about money, its just their passion, just like people have passion for singing so they also go to mumbai and do the same things like actresess but they are not much good looking so less chances of being molested.
