the iron was too hot when I put it on my red pant and it left a shiny shadow, does anyone know how I can take it off. The pant is part of a beautiful suit that is practically new and I would hate to let go of it. Thanks

re-wash the pants and see if that helps. Sometimes it is just on too hot of a setting and it just leaves a mark, but washing it usually takes it out. Next time, try using a pressing cloth.

If you iron the rest of the suit with a hot iron you might be able to match the shadow you left on the pants...lol

get a damp tea-towel and put it on the area then use the iron, the shine has come from the direct contact with the iron
