I asked one in the political section about Barak Hussein Obama. I got heckled, harrassed, insulted, accused of being a bigot and told that I made a few of them physically ill. It was a legit question, too. I wasn't even being sarcastic or anything.

I have and someone checked my profile and read my non serious questions and assumed I was joking and let everyone else know about it so I quit doing that. I'm here strictly for entertainment purposes only now.
