absolutely! it contains so much info that i need/want and i use it for so many things. i'm especially dependent when i get bored or just need something to take my mind off things and kill some free time. it's just like how some people can be about their video games, cable tv, sports, or even drugs. it's as essential as your cell phone and nothing feels right without it.

Not EMOTIONALLY dependent, but maybe productivity-wise, yes. If I'm not at my computer I don't get antsy or nervous or can't wait to get back to it. I can go a whole weekend without touching a computer and only get back on it when I come to work on Monday.

it could in theory be possible to become emotionally dependant on anything. yes, if youre only source of social conversation is online, or if you constantly seek guidance online it would be quite simple.
personally, i used it extensively to talk to people, as i was friendless for afew years. but now i have some good friends, and do no longer feel lonely or upset without my laptop.

Once. I had a "crush" on someone that lived 7 time zones away THROUGH the computer lol. I was emotionally dependent.. and lets not let these little boxes do that to us! Don't let computers take away our creativity!

sometimes if i am waiting for an important email or something like that but i could always use the phone so yes and no, depending on the situation

Beyond a doubt... I have withdraws if i cannot check my mail .. or access my fav web pages ... and i am at a loss when i need to look something up and have no access to a computer or the Internet .. and don't even get me started about if i couldn't Photoshop hehe .. i would be devastated
