Beleive it or not the chemicals in your brain are under your command you have to think you are angry even a slit second before you actually feel it. Think happy, do this often , find a fantasy and indulge yourself, listen to happy music, exercise, surround yourself with the happiest things you can and I bet you will see strong results in 1 or 2 weeks. Good luck.

I don't know about dopamine, but seratonin can be increased by taking large doses of Vitamin B6 with a small increase in magnesium. This has actually proven effective in helping some autistic children.
Apparently the metabolic by-products of B6 are the building blocks of seratonin. Another dietary source of seratonin precursors in turkey meat.

Research has proven there are specific foods that help boost the feel-good chemicals serotonin and dopamine. These include refined carbohydrates, such as cereals, rice and pasta, starchy vegetables which include potatoes and beans, and foods rich in amino acids, such as chicken, fish, beef and nuts. It is important to eat food that will give you enough energy to function properly throughout the day.
Carbohydrates and sugars are given a Glycaemic Index (GI), which rates them on how quickly they are digested.
Foods with a low GI will give you a sustained energy release, these include lentils, peaches and grapefruit.
By eating these types of food your body will remain balanced and you are less likely to suffer from high and low moods.
The Healthwell website reports exercise also improves mood by releasing the same feel-good chemicals, which will ultimately benefit you both physically and mentally. Regular exercise provides you with more energy and will make you stronger and fitter while increasing levels of serotonin in the brain and improving your stress tolerance.
Exercise also gets rid of a build up of chemicals such as adrenalin and cortisol and produces more of the sleep chemical, melatonin.
This is a chemical that helps you to achieve deep sleep and gives your body a chance to rejuvenate and regenerate. When a healthy diet is combined with regular exercise you are giving yourself the best chance of having a happy, healthy life.
ALSO the sun raises your levels of serotonin

I don't know if it helps increase the amount of serotonin and dopamine, but this will help you to feel better.....HONEY!!
People who have a chemical imbalance or recovering addicts should eat a couple tablespoon fulls of honey when they feel the "crash" coming on and it will pick them up again. Also, the smell of peppermint(whether it's tea, essential oils or lotion)helps to revitalize and I feel, helps to kind of cleanse and makes me receptive to positive things.

To naturally do this you need to increase the amount of the pre-cursers to them (building blocks), the precurser to serotonin is 5-HTP and the precurser to dopamine is l-dopa. So just shop around on the internet for the two.
