His songs are familiar, but his name probably won't ring a bell to most. As far as the story goes, Robbie didn't intend to break into the US because he wants to live anonymously in LA. He's MASSIVE everywhere else though. Absolutely MASSIVE (note the caps for emphasis... haha) and he smashed a world record for having the tickets to his world tour sold out in a matter of hours.
Quite a personality, that Williams guy. :D

Robbie Williams, former member of Take That, has yet to break through in the US. I remember reading an article where they said that US is the only country where Robbie Williams hasn't achieved any success. I think they also said that he decided to give up on trying to succeed in US.

I'm european so fortunately here Rob is very famous!! everyone knows him... i'm sorry that in america he's not so famous cause he's a really great singer! i'm one of his biggest fan ever and I've also seen him in concert.. he's amazing..

I liked his songs "Millennium" and "Rock DJ", but he's really not that famous Stateside. Tyler would say otherwise, but that is something completely different...

No. He had one song get airplay for a while here in the U.S. that anyone would remember - maybe. I don't know what it's called, I didn't like it.
