i hate getting shocked! i get shocked in dry places such as las vegas. plus, there's so much electricity there so i get painfully shocked left and right. i hate it! it hurts! does wearing 100% cotton and jewelry such as gold/silver bracelets, rings, necklaces help ease people from getting shocked? i already know rubber conducts electricity, but what about cotton and jewelry? and why is it that there are people who do not get shocked at all? what's their secret? thank y'all!

Rubber does not conduct electricity it insulates from it. Gold and silver are used extensively in electronic equipment because they are such good conductors. Any metal will conduct electricity. Any type of shoe will help. Rubber, leather, plastic and crepe soles are all good insulators.
