Would like to know which models (may) have panels from company called SHARP. I've checked replacement panel cross-ref lists to no avail, and the HP website specs to no avail.

Remove the screen from your laptop. You will then be able to tell who manufactured the screen. If you need a new one, contact http://www.screentekinc.com
or ebay to get a new one.

Probably the easiest way to figure it out would be to do a quick search on Ebay for your models LCD panel. Often times there will be sellers who just sell the panel itself, and they will have the part number and possibly even the manufacturer of the panel listed in the auction.
