i used to work at The Body Shop wich is like bath and body works...only better and more natural products...and well first off i would need to know your daily face regime...as in what do you to your face...what products you use already...and what ur skin type is...from what you have told me so far...fine in the morning and then oily in the afternoon...i would guess ur skin is normal to oily...and with that i would recommend the Seaweed Facial wash, toner, and scrub...followed by a face cream so it wont dry out...you can find those products at The Body Shop...they are decent price too...

First of all I need to point out that Wally Y is wrong about osteoperosis... it is NOT caused by carbonation and sugars, but soda can lead to it. It is from the caffiene as caffiene leaches calcium out of the bones. Carbonation doesn't do anything, except maybe give you the burps, and too much sugar will lead to weight gain and diabetes. Otherwise, I have the same problem with my face. I use a mattifying cleanser, then I use a mattifying face balm before my make up. By 1 or 2 my face is pretty greasy, so I use the blotting sheets by Clean & Clear. They are pretty wonderful stuff! I also make sure to drink plenty of water and get some exercise every day. Also don't touch your face throughout the day... it can cause your face to get greasier (especially if you have lotion on). Hope this helped!

Physicians formula makes a translucent oil absorbing face powder that goes on over or in lieu of your makeup. I have an oily face too, and it's the only powder I've used that's actually worked.
Also, if you go onto eyeslipsface.com and buy their oil absorbing pads and use those BEFORE you apply your makeup, that cleans all the oil off your face and you can start with a clean slate. That is the only brand of oil absorbing paper I've used that's worked for a prologued period of time.
The paper is only a dollar for a pack of 50, and you can get physician's formula makeup at any CVS fairly cheap.

Forget all the pills and/or over the counter cures(they don't cure anything). Oils in your skin are caused by diet. Change your diet and find out how much you've been missing and how beautiful you can be and remain. Eat more fresh vegetables raw in salads and steamed or stir-fried in extra virgin olive oil. Eat more fresh fruits and dring fresh organic fruit juices when possible. Cut out 'ALL' red meats. Cut out junk foods and sodas(sodas are the number one cause of osteoporosis in women because of the carbonation and sugars). Exercize by walking at least two miles every day after school. In thirty days you will be amazed at your energy and stamina. Also, get an Aloe Vera plant, preferably a large indoor one. Every night before bed cut off a piece about an inch long and one to two inches wide. Wash your face with a good all-natrual herbal soap and after hand-rinsing pat your face dry(rubbing causes facial scarring). Then carefully cut the jagged edges off the aloe vera plant peel back the leaf and smear the gel all over your face. Let it set all night. In the morning wash you face with the herbal soap again. Do this every day and you will have no more problems, even those caused by makeup and it's removal.

I have the same problem. I use Clean & Clear oil absorbing sheets - they are little blue "papers" that you use to wipe the oil off your face. They pick up the oil and don't smudge or remove any makeup. You can get a pack of 50 sheets for about $2 or $3 at beauty stores or Target/Walmart. I've been using them for several months now and I love them. Hope that helps! :)

Try dabbing your face with rice paper during the day to absorb the oil. I also have oily hair, go easy on the hair conditioner (don't put it on your scalp) and try not play with your hair too much.

invest in some blotting tissues you can dab your face with throughout the day to absord the oil that has surfaced on your face. If you wear powder makeup, touch up with that after you blot, but only use a little.
You can even use napkins and even toilet seat covers to sop up the oil, they work just as well as the blotting tissues.

carry a facial cleanser in your hand bag with some cotton swabs. I have used quite a number of them but I'm glad I've finally found the perfect one - "witch doctor" natural toner. It contains witch hazel and it is an antiseptic cleanser that is very soothing. trust me. Cleanse your face with it during your lunch break, apply powder and fix up your makeup

If you're wearing makeup a great option is rice papers. You can buy them at Sally beauty supply. They're great because they absorb just the oil but keep your makeup intact. They work much better than powder.

You could bring some stridex acne pads with you to school. Go to the bathroom and wipe your face down really quick.
