Rey-rey did undergo knee surgery for a nagging injury he sustained prior to his I Quit match with Chavo. Chavo beating the holy buhjesus out of Rey's knee was a kayfabe work with some truth to it. It's funny how some internet sites will lie to you to get your attention. Next time you have any questions on Unkayfabe injuries, just pick up a PWI, they'll tell you everything, or go to www.411mania.com and hit the wrestling section and go to news. 1wrestling.com's good too. Styles and Apter used to run it before Joey was called in to do commentary for WWECW. It's a bit bias, but it's a truth-giving page.

Yes he did have a surgery. The match with chavo was just an explanation why he needed a surgery.

Rey had to have surgery but its wierd that hes wearing a mask while hes in surgery.

Yep. Knee surgery. He will be back around May or June to wrestle. He will be on Smackdown on Friday night because it was in his hometown of San Diego (Smackdown tapes on Tuesdays). Guys really do get hurt even though it is "scripted". HHH is another example of a "legit" injury versus a "storyline injury".

yes he did have surgery and tha is why they did the I Quit match with chavo.That match was to provide an explanation for his real life surgery

no it was part of his script to fake that he messed up his acl so then can give the world heavy weight to batista and not make batista fight rey to lose reputation and they made his day come back in san diego they just wanted him out for a while so batista and under taker can go at it

i think he did and also REY WILL BE THE NEW WORLD CHAMP!!!!!! once he comes back he will be new wolrd champ.......so i think he relly did have surgery on his knee.
