I've always thanked my parents for things that they have done,as and when they have done them.
I haven't gone to extremes and thanked them for giving life to me as this was their choice to have me in the first place.

I cooked my mother dinner on my birthday this past January, even though she admitted that I was an accident. She remembers every minute detail about the births of my other sisters yet can't even remember what time I was born, just sometime late in the morning.

I love my January birthday because everyone is too broke to get me lousy gifts! Many thanks to my parents for proving that kids can't save a struggling marriage.
