I'm applying to medical school next spring. I recently transferred out of my original college and am currently taking courses at a community college until I am accepted into my desired University this summer. (This is 3 transcripts).

Here's my question, I want to take the MCAT in the spring, and to do this I need to take 2 courses this summer. These courses are not offered in the summer at the University I am planning to attend. Would it look specious to a med school admissions team to see a 4th transcript form a college that offers the classes I need? I'd only be there for a semester, and I will end up getting As in these courses... Please help!

I am at Junior status, taking general education requirements at the community college (psych, lit, Spanish, and English). I have about 4 quarters left before I get a bs, and the two courses I wish to take are Physics II and Orgo II

The college I am at NOW is a community college. The college I am transferring to is not, nor is the college I wish to take courses at this summer. None of my science courses were taken at the community college.

Does your new college not have these?

4 can be if you have a good reason for them. However, it looks like you're taking them at community colleges because they're much easier there. That's not going to look good to med schools. It's not really the number of transcripts, it's why there are so many transcripts.

A good reason would be if you had already graduated, changed your mind and decided to do medicine, but had to take the prereqs at various CCs cuz your undergrad won't let you come back to take more classes. Legitimately had to take them at CCs.

Here, it sounds like you're ducking the harder classes at a 4yr uni and are trying to boost your GPA by taking the easiest classes possible. If that's not the case, then you better make that clear on your application somewhere.

in all hazard. whilst you're "on the fence", the adcom might ask on your grades to establish. additionally, maximum faculties require that, as quickly as prevalent, which you bypass all your training with B's or C's observing the college.
