It happens on a consistent basis for things that do not require immediate attention, and you ignore their phone calls at work, and they E-MAIL u at work instead, would you find this irritating?
It would be done in such a fashion ... subject line = CALL ME.
You see on your caller ID, that parent has called you numerous times already; you know it is not an emergency since it happens frequently.
On a scale of 1-10 (10 being most annoyed), how annoyed would you be?
I am 32 YEARS OLD; This has been going on for YEARS!

i wouldn't be annoyed. they are probably the ones who are annoyed knowing that you are looking at your caller ID and rejecting the call. ha. Give them someone elses extension ha.

That IS annoying! My mother does this: calls my voice mail at work and I don't answer- leaves a msg., calls my cell phone - leaves another msg. and then if I don't call right back calls my cell phone again. All within 7 minutes of each other. ARGH! Don't expect it to change. I've mentioned it and my mother says, "I'm afraid I'll forget what I need to tell you..."

I do not find it that bad at all b/c you never know when something could really be wrong

welcome to my life. Except for me its not my parents its my father in law. He will call over and over again and then send me text message to please call ASAP. When I do call him back its something ridiculous.
