There is only one Nation called America... there are two continents with the name America... North and South... on each continent there are several Nations... but only one Nation got to pick the name America because they got it first.... Canadians are not Americans, Mexicans are not Americians... they are Canadians and Mexicans respectivly... The full name of the Nation using the word America is The United States of America... America for short... those seeking to form a new order and eliminate all, espacialy the USA, borders, are formenting dissent concerning the word usage... Mexico is for Mexicans and they should be proud of their country and seek to defend it against this new order as should the Canadians and all otheres...I am an American... and I will defend my country... I, and the overwhelming majority of Americans, have no desire to take over Mexico or Canada... or any other country... we do not demand that mexico change it's name and they have no right to demand we change ours... and they should be more concerned withthe evil within their own country that is keeping the majority of good mexican people inslaved in proverty.... it is not the USA thqat is doing it ... it is coruption within their own boarders... and the new order is only going to strengthen that coruption not eliminate it...
There are different countries for a reason... there are different people with different wants and needs and personalities... and there is no one-size-fits-all government that will be able to effectivly lead if all were lumped into one.... viva Mexico, viva USA, viva Canada, viva all who love freedom in our own countries and our own ways... to all, via con Dios and may His blessing be upon all.

Because the continents were formed that way. In Spain, children are taught that there is only one America. HOwever, if you look at a map of the world, you see they are two separate continents joined by a narrow strip of land.
Asia and Europe are considered universally to be separate continents, but they look more like one single continent on the map.

They are separate continents so they are designated North and South. If that is what you were talking about. Its not that hard, North America is North of the Equator and South America is...

Why do you think? There is black and there is white. There is good and there is evil. There is happy and there is sad. There is positive and there is negative. Everything has an opposite.
