I need help with answering this question of what caused the fall of the roman republic i know it has to do with many other things including things like goverment taxes war power etc. but i need help with how each of these things caused the fall of the roman republic thanks :)

The approval of Christianity by Constantine was the initial nail in the coffin of the Roman Empire....

A lot of people would scoff at that, but the first years after he converted, Constantine spent lots of money on many campaigns in war and "cultural dispertion" of the new official religion...usurped many old traditions and ways and the empire eventually weakened until it's collapse since the far reaching provinces couldn't maintain control in the pagan populations.

The roman empire was taken over by envading germanic groups... the romans could not hold their borders..... bam.
