They will eat a lot of things. Most treats for them are made from either raisins or chicken. If you're going to give a ferret table food, be sure he gets enough kibble as well, or you'll start to see his coat looking shabbier and less healthy. I would be careful when giving him things that have a lot of spices on them, sauces, or peppers. Keep it simple and not processed. And I would avoid giving him dairy products. Not many pet animals do well with dairy, and many get upset stomachs or gas from it. Generally, most pets will willingly eat more things than are actually good for them to eat, so keep in mind that just because your ferret is willing to eat his weight in beef jerky or bologna, it's probably not the best dietary supplement.

it's not a real good idea to give ferrets to much people food. The do like to eat meat like chicken and stuff like that. The best human food to give ferrets are pinnapple, apples, banana chips and stuff like that..
be carefull my ferret got loose and found that he loved chocolate covered cherries...but don't let them chocolate is very bad for them..
for ideas of homemade treats for your fuzzy I suggest you buy "ferrets for dummies" best ferret book out there...

Here is a great website for Ferrett Feeding and Nutrition education. I think their best suggestion is feeding your ferrett a cooked egg or hard boiled egg. They can roll it around and play with it while getting the proper nutrition at the same time.

I give my ferrets raw egg,raw chicken & left over cooked chicken. I have tryed fruit but they didn't like it.

only certain fruits, but nothing else. ferrets can be quite picky about there diet, sometimes, and there stomach gets messed up easily.
