Kerala is one of the states in India which has least industrial development. Consequently the environmental pollution is also less compared to other places. Barring a single city like Cochin which was at the center of sudden spurt of trade and industrial activity the rest of the cities are well maintained. When you look at the moon the beauty engulfs you ,you do not have an eye to observe the scars on the surface.

I have visited Kerala many times and found it to be charming. The problem of garbage which you have mentioned is there, but that alone need not put you off from visiting it.Kerala is said to be "God's own country" and i am sure that during your visit there you would get to catch glimpses of it.In Kerala, tranquility and peace co-exist with noise and chaos. If you are ready to brave a few inconveniences you might enjoy Kerala.

Its a place of great natural beauty and serenity. Why look for garbage when mother nature in all its splendor is all around?
