Another "How Come" question for you to answer from me! And a "Do You" question, too! So come answer them! :)

Question

How come some people only answer the questions that are on the top page in any section of Yahoo! Answers, and do not look at the 2nd or 3rd or even 4th to see who else might have a question?

I mean, I try to get to the 2nd pg whenever I can. Do you?

i mostly just look at the first pagee ones but now that you said that i will look at the 2nd 3rd and 4th now :)

I think most want to be the first few people to answer questions rather than the bottom of the list. By the time a normal person reads all the answers he or she is bored and going to move on. Much like reading pages and pages of questions. Especially when we just want to spend 5 or 10 minutes. However, those whom have a few hours go much further I suspect.

I go on the music, or jokes part of answers then I'll go back quite a few pages but that's sorta because I wanna find a question about my favourite band that I would actually be able to answer lol but I answer random other questions as well. On other parts of answers I'll only go back to the second page, not much further really, depends how bored I am lol

People are lazy. If I don't see any interesting questions on the first page or when I am bored, sometimes I do try to get to other pages. But, most of the time, I try to go to the different categories directly, instead of the main listing,..

I go back 13 to 14 pages if not more. A lot of those questions are good and only have 1 or 2 answers to them.

It's a shame how many good questions don't get responses.

I think it's just out of convenience that most people look at the top page. I dont always go back, unless there arent may good Q's I want to answer on the top page.

Well, maybe people don't realize they have 2nd or 3rd or 4th pages if they are new. If they aren't new, maybe they could be at a library checking and are limited on time or maybe don't have time, possibly just on a short break at work. I do myself. Feel free to IM or e-mail me too. ;)

I do try try to look at all of them...sometimes i find some them to be the most interesting....i can tell people just want points when they put in one or two word answers...sometimes I just hate that....I try to put some thought into my answers......I've only asked one question on here it got pushed down and didn't get answered... :( it was a plug in question...i still don't know the answer too...ha

I only answer questions that interest me so i do look through them and get to the second and third pages

I answer the questions that are interesting to me. Not just the ones that are on the top of the list.
