Translucent would be like a bathroom window or wax paper.
You can see through it, but no detail.
Transparent is like regular, clear glass.

transparent is completely clear translucent is like a lamp shade its not completely clear but still permeable to light

ok..transprent would be..your window..you can see through it CLEARLY

but if somethings translucent its not so clear but still a little for instance your bathroom window

a wee bit clear for light but not so clear cause you dont want to be scene in the nude lol xxxxxxx

Transparent implies that something is COMPLETELY see-through, whereas translucent means that an object is some-what foggy when you look through it.

Things that are transparent: glass, water, clear plastic, ect

Things that are translucent: Lemonade, sheer fabric, ect

Translucent- You can see through it but nothing is very sharp. eg. wax paper

Transparent- See through. A sharp image can be viewed.

something transparent is see-through, allowing all light through. something translucent will only allow some light through. if it is opaque, no light will go through.

traslucent means that you can see through even though it might be colored, such as a yellow shirt that you can see your bra. Transparent means that it is clear, you can see like out of a window.

translucent means very thin and can ALMOST be seen through...Transparent means it IS see through...
