I stayed there this last December and was very impressed! I now recommend it to anyone looking to save some money on an Orlando hotel close to Disney.
Their rooms start at $59 a night in the off-peak season. Rooms come with a mini fridge and rooms can be ajoining if you have a large party. They have 3 beautiful pools, a fun miniature golf course, a decent buffet-style restaurant, bar & grill, mini store, really friendly staff and a complimentary shuttle to the parks. They are located off Hwy 192, near Hwy marker #4 in Kissimmee and only 3 minutes to the Disney's Animal Kingdom freeway entrance.
And it is called Lakeside for a reson: there is a small lake right on property. Keep an eye on the kids - apparently, this lake has had gators! But not to worry- there is a fence to keep them out - just be sure the kids don't go in. It isn't a high fence. - but just enough to keep the gators out.

It is also minutes from Kissimmee's best restaurant: Houlihan's!

Not stayed at that hotel,but stayed in L.B.V-we were at Hawthorne Suites. That area is lovely,there's a great branch of Denny's there that's much quieter than the others (near the Olive Garden),and a great bar that has live bands on - Kitty O'Shea's which is near Hooters.You'll find the area very quit and peacefull,and immaculately kept.
