What would you recommend in terms of listening to music when you are angry with the world? And I don't mean heavy screamo rock or anything too R&B'sh...I'm 35 and my parents are going through a terrible divorce at the moment. I keep listening to emotive ballads but can't put my finger on anything that keeps my strength up. Please give me your recommendations to put on my ipod - will keep me going. Thanks.

Ministry's instrumental stuff is pretty angry without screaming lyrics. Sounds like you're looking for some dark music..hmmmmmmm.
AH HA! No not the band..
Gary Numan's cd's Sacrifice and Exile have so much animosity but with melody however if you are Christian it will definately offend you to no end as the guy really has a hate/HATE relationship with God. Numan was an inspiration for Trent Reznor and Marilyn Manson.
You may also want to check out the song Disintegration by The Cure which talks about a marriage well...disintegrating and not kindly. A Hundred Years by The Cure is pretty angry without being RRRAAAARRRGGGHHH! as is Fascination Street.
Other songs i recommend..
Where The Birds Always Sing by The Cure (the ultimate life just sucks song)
My My My (Funktuary Radio Mix) by Armand Van Helden (can lift you up)
Pro-Test by Skinny Puppy
Lift Me Up by Moby
Good Luck by Basement Jaxx
Spitfire by The Prodigy (get a punching bag ready)
Hope this helps

OMG well I'm 36 and when I'm angry it's Lamb of God, Pantera, or something hard. Maybe you should listen and get all those feelings out cause sometimes the lighter stuff just doesn't do it. Try Staind not too soft not too hard.

My Chemical Romance - they always make me feel better - some of their songs are about problems...maybe not everyday problems but problems all the same. They're strangely up-lifting songs, most of them. Or at least I think they are, not everyones taste like, but then it's near impossible to find music that everyone loves.
