It depends on how far off from plain water the liquid you are boiling is. For the same amount of heat coming in the thicker one will take longer (has elevated boiling point). I am just guessing what vinegar sugar is but I am guessing it is like that thick sweet and sour red sauce you get at a Chinese restaurant to put over chicken fingers. That has a lot of sugar in it so it is thicker than Gatorade which is not thick at all.

My guess is the vinegar syrup will be slower.

Syrup will boil at a higher temperature than gatorade because it has more things dissolved. The more particles dissolved, the higher the boiling point. Therefore it would take longer to get to the boiling point , adding heat at the same rate.

Although gatorade has several salts, (sdium chloride and potassium chloride)sugar and citric acid in it, the total number of particles in vinegar syrup is greater because to nake a syrup a great deal of sugar is used. Vinegar is 5% acetic acid.
