For An A-Level Drama play that I am part of, i need to master the somerset accent while being seven years old. I find the childlike qualities easy to master but the accent puzzles me. could anyone give me a website or some dialect with actually people speaking in a west country accent so that i can work on this, or even a word list of pronunciations. very much appreaciated. thanks

The BBC has a lot of useful information.

1. Zummerzet - http://www.bbc.co.uk/somerset/voices2005/

2. Other BBC webpages
a) West Country accents

b) Devon accent - this, like 1. above, has audio clips but it may sound more "authentic" to the public than the Zummerzet clips.
