That in Britain, 'Baseball' is called rounders and is only played by teenage girls in games classes while the lads are off playing rugby. It makes me laugh to see these 'hard men' snarling at eachother and pulling faces then running round like girls

You are so going to get ripped to shreds, but I agree with you, I love rugby.

Not all the lads are off playing rugby. What about cricket? Explain to me how that is any rougher than baseball.

Baseball is one of the hardest sports in the world.

You wouldnt believe how fast a 90 mph fastball (or how painful) It be tougher yet to hit something that fast and small.

Rugby? It's mostly physical.

Baseball requires alot of mental and physical.

I'm afraid you're right. Rounds did originate in Great Britain in the 1600's, but American-style baseball and softball definitely did not. They are all ours! According to the article, everyone of all ages must play rounds in the UK and Ireland and a few other places. See you at the Olympics, all my British Cousins.

Did you Brits know that in America only girls play rugby? It's true.

You clearly sound like someone who is totally envious of America in general. I'm an American of British decent but don't go around taking cheap shots at Britain. Who really cares what you think of baseball! We love our national past time as you obviously love your "football" and "cricket" and whatever else the English enjoy. We don't knock your inherent life style so why should you knock ours?

I'd say all in all you pretty much made a fool of yourself with you ridiculous comment. Have a nice day mate!!

I got to tell you!!! The other day I answered a question for somebody and went ahead and informed them that this is where our game of baseball comes from. That's the same day I got sick of people trying to compare baseball with cricket!!

Did you know?
That in America, "Brits" are called weiners and Brits let girls play rounders and a Queen rule their bloody country because the English lads can't handle it.

Did you Euro's know... that here in America NOBODY plays soccer? Only kids under the age of 7 who can't play anything else and who's skills aren't developed yet play soccer. Real men here play football, basketball, baseball, or even hockey. Stick to kicking a ball around, crying "foul" if somebody touches you, and enjoy your 0-0 scores.

Did you British know, that we beat you in two wars, and saved your sorry banger and haggis eating butts from being called Fritz in Two separate World Wars and that it is kind of funny watching your 'hard men' playing polo? or worshiping at the altar of royalty. The only Royalty we baseball loving Americans worship is George Brett, Amos Otis, Bret Saberhagen etc. Look it up if you do not understand the references. Oh yeah do not get me started on Ireland

I want to see you try to hit a 100 MPH fastball (that 161 kph to you) being throw inches from your head only a few feet away. As for your rugby... something is wrong with a bunch of grown men in a big mob hugging and grabbing all over each other. Looks like a big gay orgy to me.
