I keep getting calls from India or other countries trying to sell something, even when I tell them not to call back, I am on the DNC list.

Yeah, the DNC list never worked, even though Congress assured us that companies could be levied huge fines for not complying.

Just get "Privacy Manager" from your phone company. It's a pain in the rear for people calling you who aren't on your list, but once you list them all, only unsolicited calls will have to say their name or company in order to have your phone ring.

Welcome to the world of "loopholes."

The "Do Not Call List" is actually titled the "National Do Not Call Registry" and as the word "national" indicates...not INTERnational.

Your best bet is to contact your local telephone service to obtain information from them as far as your options for pursuing these companies legally.

You can also use the "call block" technology provided by your phone service.

Best wishes!

You contact the Lt. Governor's office in the state that you live in and report them. Make sure you write down the corporation contacting you when they call also.
