I am fairly well read on the family history. And I voted for him.
I could name some other families that profiteered during ww2 also. saying he supported hitler is more than a stretch shortbus.
Look at the Rockefellers for instance.

Oh you mean that little thing about selling oil to Hitler during the war, or that financing Castro's revolution, or that whole Kennedy assassination thing, or that killing Salvador Allende' and replacing him with Pinochet', or the making the deal with Iran to keep the hostages until after the election, or maybe the cocaine Noriega or just the WTC!!!!
I bet most of the Bushtards would still vote for him because he doesn't fu(k interns.

i'm gonna say that while your upbringing and surroundings do shape and mold you, you should try and judge a person by their own personality and belief system.
that said, those that call bush "a man of the average joe" or whatever phrase you wanna put on him, should keep in mind that he comes from an obscenely rich family who has no concept of what its like to be a "normal" citizen.

It is not a person's family who run's for president, but the man or women themselves. They should be judged by their performance as a human being, alone. Yes, I would vote for George.

the ones that voted for him would still have done so because there is a difference between being able to think for oneself and letting others think for you and for the past 6years they have not had to think but unfortunately for most that did vote for him one must sooner of later face the sad state of reality

It sure didn't stop people voting for JFK, in spite of his dad being a smuggler during prohibition.
