Calm down....Take a deep breath....and thing logicaly. You need to serve the dentention....even though it is completely unfair. There are lots of things in life we do even though we shouldn't have to. You have alot on your plate right now and are feeling very overwhelmed. But what will running away solve.....then you'll have even more on your plate....like where to sleep, find food, and warmth. You need to make a list of all of the things that are causing you stress. And then one by one....find a solution.
Jammed Locker ---WD40
Principle Hunting me down for detention---just serve the stupid detention
When you make your list go to your mom and sit down with her. Very calm and without any hysterics and tell her that you are a little over wrought and that maybe you might need a personal health day. Tell her you've looked at your schedual and found a day without any exams and that you have all of the assignments in advance. Tell her you are going to use the time to reorganize your room, so that maybe your life can be a little less hectic. Tell her you really need this time to just recenter. If you are resonable and calm and prepared, I can't imagine she'll say no. If you are hysterical, emotional, and sound crazy she probably will say no.
But make the list and start taking controll over these stressors. As you get each one under controll you'll start feeling more empowered!

Chill out. Do the detentions. You are compounding the problem. One thing you should keep in mind when you are stressed is 'Don't make whatever is stressing you worse with your actions or words' If you accidentally hit your thumb with a hammer, would you get angry and hit your thumb again with the same hammer?
I hope not.
OK, maybe you could use a break but a break isn't on the horizon so think about how you can learn to stand all these bad things happening to you. For example, I'll bet you haven't addressed the problem of the jammed locker yet. It would help a lot if you showed that you knew how to fix things that need to be fixed - by going to the administration office to request that your locker be fixed.

Skipping detention probably isn't the way to get justice, in fact it only makes you look more irresponsible. Why not go into the vice principal and ask for a new locker? Then you will redeem yourself by being on time and they will realize that you were telling the truth.
I think you should go to detention (it's a good way to get work done without distractions anyway) and work hard to never be in that situation again. Just do what you have to do. If you have to carry more books so you can just go straight to Math instead of stopping by your locker or if you have to ask a friend to put your stuff in his/her locker for that class, doing that is better than trying to fix it by skipping detention.
My mom never let me skip school either. I totally understand being overstressed and needing time off and time alone and not being able to get it. But I promise you, you can get through it. It will get better somewhere down the line. Just try to be optimistic and make the best of what you have.

It doesn't matter for what reason you were late to class. You have to learn responsibility. If you know you have a class at a certain time, you have to be there, whether you have a jammed locker or not. You need to go ahead and go to detention and take your punishment because if you don't, you're going to get in worse trouble.
You're going to find throughout life that even though you need a break from things, most of the time that's not an option. You just keep going.

Take responsbility for yourself.
1) Report your locker problems IMMEDIATELY to the office. Either trade lockers or ask them to fix yours and leave a note that it's been fixed. If it's locked, arrange to meet the Janitor after school. This is your fault for not reporting the problem.
2) When you get detention, take it.
3) Life's not fair. But this issue is within your control.
4) Go for a long walk or run or do yoga.

Skipping out on detention is only going to get you in more trouble. You need to have your mom or someone at the school come to your locker to prove it. Then you get your problem fixed. Try being nice and don't come off smart to the school. If you have an attitude, they are least likely to help you out there. Good luck!

HAHA yeah i have to deal with that a lot too. But calm down just go to the detention and relax there take out some hmwk and get it finished, or you can sleep. It's not as bad as you think (ive never had detention). Everyone gets a detention at some point. Just relax and as for that break take this weekend off. Don't go out just relax in ur room. It will be fine. IM stressed out lately too, about my music, i play the sax and i have to learn to improv and its hard (my hair is falling out a LOt) but im pretty good for just learning. Just relax all things will click with time

Ask your vice principal or teacher if you could prove that the locker gets jammed. Explain to your mom what has happened and have her go with you to talk to the teacher or principal. Don't worry it's really not that bad. Good luck.

Chill out. What's detention? Use the time to do homework so you don't have to worry about it when you get home. Use the time to write a story or draw a picture. You've gotta figure this out soon: Life isn't fair. If it were fair, my husband wouldn't be in a war zone while myself and our daughter sit at home and hope his helicopter doesn't get shot down. But life isn't fair. That's the way it is. You have to take it as it comes, roll with the punches. So they don't believe you- big deal. As long as you know what's true, just make the best of the situation. Figure out something to do to make it better. Running away is no answer. That's just stupid and cowardly. Where would you go? What would you do to survive? How would you eat? Think things through.
