Yeah I know how to write and execute Java code. My current code just won't work in Netscape or Firefox so I am looking for an language specific editor that will help find the errors.

Wordpad, frontpage, and Adobe Go Live just aren't helping.

Under Microsoft Internet Explorer, one of the best debuggers for JavaScript is the Microsoft Script Editor. This is a free component that ships with Microsoft Office.

THe Microsoft Script Debugger works, but is isn't good for editing code on the fly.

Any editor will work.
Just load a file into your browser that references the java script or java script file.

Edit and save the file in say: "wordpad". Save and then hit the reload button on the browser.
