They seem to have very little wrestling ability when compared to divas like Lita, Mickie James, Trish Status, Victoria, and even Melina, and possibly Jillan Hall.

Because before entering the diva competition, those women never had ANY wrestling training. So they just get thrown out there and exposed.
Most of the other women you mentioned on the other hand, wrestled either in WWE developmental or the indies before coming up, so they already have experience. Trish actually is the exception to the rule though, in that she was intially hired for her looks but got serious about wrestling and became pretty good.

I know! Mickie James has ring skill, along with Melina, and Victoria. Look at Torrie Wilson: she hasn't had a match in over a year, and she's with a guy who has a bad hair day everyday. But they use girls like that for advertisements. Candice Michelle has a deal with GoDaddy.com and being a WWE diva with other endorsement deals brings in more cash for the WWE.

The Diva Search women don't measure up because WWE isn't looking for women that wrestle anymore.
WWE is just looking for ones that will come out to the ring half naked & ones that will pose in Playboy.
The only Diva Search Winner that can wrestle is in TNA now
- Christy Hemme.

They've never worked the indy circuit, they never underwent development or training, they never had Fit Finlay whoop their *** backstage like he did with the rest of the other Diva's he trained in WWE, they had no prior background in any sort of wrestling, aside from possibly over dying millionaires, under the sheets, or over a single at the strip club.
These are the kinds of women who want to marry Flava Flave, they're called gold diggers. Even if they have no love or passion for what they're seeking out, if it'll get'em some money and a nice bed to sleep in, they'll go as far as to wrestle a ninja in a pit of mud filled with alligators in the middle of January.

Because most of them diva search contastants were working in modeling not wrestling so they suck @$$,forgot to add Kristal and Christy Hemme
