No! I hate this. I have never understood why people think sexual orientation is a choice. I'm straight. When I started to have sexual feelings as a girl my brain and body just reacted to boys. I didn't "choose" it. The same thing happens to gay people except they respond to the same gender. It's not a "choice". It's ridiculous and drives me crazy when people say it is. Plus with all the crap and homophobia that gay people have to put up with why would they "choose" to be gay? To make their parents mad? PUHLEEZE! This type of thinking just boggles my mind.

I know it is not a choice. Several of my close friends and relatives are homosexual, and I see absolutely NOTHING wrong with it. Sexual orientation is not a choice, it's the way people are. I don't understand why the trolls keep doing this, but I am getting really ticked at them.
Once again, sexual orientation is not a choice. I am straight and I see that. Now the rest of you, please, get with the program and realize that homosexuality is normal and fine.

Because of Adam and Eve's disobedience, we are all born sinners. All of us can be homosexuals, murders, fornicators, thieves, adulterers or liars. Maybe even more than one of those. We all sin which is the reason that we all are born separated from God and do the things that He has told us not to do..
Jesus came to the earth for the purpose of becoming the blood sacrifice for the forgiveness of our sins. Those of us who will choose Him as our Lord and Savior and repent (which means to turn away from sin), will be given the free gift of eternal life with God.
God doesn't want anyone to be lost. That is why even though we are born sinners, He has provided Jesus for us. Not choosing Jesus is the only way that we remain separated from God.
Homosexual acts are what God calls sin of the flesh. Sexual activity is designed by God, for 1 man and 1 woman in marriage. Any other is sin. Coming to Jesus for love, leadership and forgiveness is the way to go to Heaven. The only way.

bamboo I am a straight woman and i know that you didn't choose to be gay, it is genetic, sadly enough I am one of the few that get on here that support the gay and bisexual people, even though for some people they did decide to experiment and found that they liked to be with their own gender better.

great question. i love it! society is so double-standarded.. they just assume that everyone was, is, and always will be straight.. lol
bottom line, we are all born with our sexuality.. and societal influences make it tougher for us to realize our true selves, in certain situations..
