This is actually quite common - it can sometimes be very difficult to make the transition from pureed food to lumpy foods. My eldest son was just the same. What worked for me was to very very gradually make his food less smooth and runny - this is fairly easy if you cook your own baby food for her, but if you mostly use jars or tinned baby food, try mixing a little of the lumpier food for older babies with some of the puree for younger babies - mash it in and mix it round. Very gradually increase the 'lumpiness' of the food. My youngest daughter decided at around this age that she only wanted to eat what we were eating, so I just adapted our food for her, and she was happy with that. Try to stay relaxed about it and not get frustrated, as babies do tend to pick up on it if you're feeling wound up. Easier said than done I know! Learning to eat is a learning curve for them - working their way up from milk to proper food and sometimes it can be difficult, but she will get there in the end. All the best of luck.

You say you have tried everything!! How long have you tried each thing? It takes time - you need to come up with something and stick to it. What I would try and I know it sounds cruel but it isn't!! Give her something and if she doesn't eat it don't give her anything else. Children will not intentionally starve themselves and if she is hungry enough she will eat anything she is given. Upon eating something that she normally doesn't eat give her lots of praise - this will encourage her to try new foods!! It is best to sort out a fussy eating problem while they are young - the older they get, the more difficult it becomes.
It is probably a good idea to consult your GP about your daughters eating as they may have some other recommendations!

Children can be really fussy eaters and the best thing to do is not to make a big deal out of it. If your child sees that its affecting you they can end up with real food phobias. As long as she is eating then she'll be fine. Giving her loads of pureed veg will give her plenty of nutrients etc. When i was her age all i would eat was cucumber and cookies, but the doctor said that as long as i was eating what was the problem. I grew out of it and now i eat like a pig!! Seriously though, don't panic try and make food fun by playing with it with her and then try and tempt her to eat some. Good luck

My son is also 10 months old and at the moment he will not eat a lot yet if u offer him choccy buttons he will eat those like there is no 2morrow!! i was advised by the doctor that as long as he is getting something and not losing alot of weight he will be fine!! Another reason why is that if your daughter is teething, she will not eat alot because of her sore gums!! i hope that helps you if you are still worried then take her to the doctors for yourself just to set your mind at rest!!

I had to entertain my daughter to get her to eat. I played games with her food like the airplane flying into to garage, her mouth, and I exaggerated the sounds so she was laughing and I snuck it in her mouth. Give her lots of finger foods to explore like the toast and chocolate buttons. Bananas are soft and easy to cut into bite size pieces. And just keep puree-ing while she grows out of this phase. She just doesn't like new textures on her tongue. She will grow in to a better understanding of this as she develops. If you puree her carrots, for example, toss in a few cooked really softly for her to try eating with her fingers. She might not do it at first, but persist and encourage her. She'll catch on.

My sister went through that with her 1st son and he's a thin 11year old boy. She says, he lives on air. She gave up on trying to get him to eat and said, he will eat when he needs to, he's not going to die, the body knows what it wants/needs. And he's fine. She's a dermatologist and around Dr.s all day.

At that age - it is likely she is teething and it just hurts too much to eat other foods. Try something mushy like fish sticks, or frozen peas (still frozen as a treat).
