I'd say that I was just looking out the window, or walking past (whatever fits the bill) and say I just saw some woman keying your car. Then he can ask ME for her description, and I don't have to exactly say that it was his mistress if I'm not supposed to know about her.

how do you know that it was their mistress that did the dirty work on the car, I would make sure before I opened my mouth, take pictures then you have the proof that you need
