The best would be take GRE, TOEFEL and go to USA for a Masters Degree. Even before you finish your MS you get good job offers with a minimum salary of $70,000 per year which you can never dream in India. If you're Deshbhakt then join any Government Department as Asst Engineer and by the time you retire you might be an Engineer with a take home salary of $ 400 per month. Choice is yours.

Dear Friend,
Have you completed the Bachelor's course in engineering or are you asking in advance what you should after Bachelor's degree?
1. If you are still studying first concentrate fully on the studies , and come out with flying colours. With very good marks and a very GOOD UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT YOU HAVE STUDIED.
2. Suppose you have finished and asking the question, I believe by this time you shold be having what to do..that is pursue further studies or go and make trails for a job.
in India, mostly, your desire to pursue for further higher studies depends upon several socio economic factors. If already your parents have toiled much and used all their reserves and even after spending what they saved with their sweating even made loans for your future, and now aged and retired , then naturally I think you try for a good job in the field of your liking and help parents clear the loans and lesssen their burden. Then after you can, without leaving the job, you can do further Night College courses and fulfil your ambitions.Whatever you study further, make a survey of the market, present trend and opportunities available etc and if you are capable of taking the course and come out with high marks with god understanding of what you studied, then automatically you will be able to get a promotion or , you may quit the job you are doing and join in a new one with better salary and perks.See that in the new job you will be happy and be able to do justice to the job, your family and parents.dont quit the job and make trails for another one.Be in the job and search and obtain a new opportunity.Dont think MONEY ALONE MATTERS.You may after sometime feel under stress and you may even repent that you did a wrong thing.
LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAP.Think twice or even thrice before making a decision.Consult good friends and study yourself what is happening around you.Study what your friends did..and how they are now?Ofcourse this is purely individual. So taking all these things into consideration please make a decision.

2. If you have entrepreneurial skills, sufficient financial and ability to take risk, you can set up your own industry.
3. If you are interested in academics, go for Masters Degree followed by Ph.D.
4. It is also preferable to join management course at IIMs or other reputed institutes to have an excellent career growth.
5. Start your own coaching centre with the assistance of other like-minded engineering graduates.
6. Sit alone, jot down various choices that come to your mind and concentrate on any one of them with full enthusiasm.
