Should I tell my boss that I KNOW he comes to work drunk?

No, he probably already knows others know he is a functioning alcoholic, my boss is like that, too, yet I am not allowed to take my Doctor prescribed pain med while at work, but yet he can come in smelling like a bar room. Doesn't quite make much sense. Your boss might try to fire you if you say anything, sorry to say, no matter how good a worker he would still most likely try to get rid of you after you told him how you feel. =)

He's your boss and even if you are right, you will never win a fight with your boss or a cop. Tell his boss that he comes in drunk.

I dunno? Do you have anything to gain from it? Maybe you shouldn't reveal that you know about it until the right time comes, like when he doesn't give you a raise, or when he makes you do more work. etc.

It sounds like something too good just to mention it for no reason. Plus, he might start distrusting you, so I wouln't unless you have something tangible to gain..
