I like the name Carter, it sounds good and easy to spell and pronounce which would be good for the child as he grows up.
Others like Dylan and Austin are too common and could be a problem because of that but that's just my opinion.

Carter sounds like a good name. Can't get teased about that. Also Carter Smith sounds really good. The other kids will envy that name.

I like the name Jaxton. Jaxton Smith. That sounds good. Out of the names you picked I like Tyler and Austin the best.

My son's name is Carter. I fell in love with the name right away. (He was actually going to be named Cheyton, but I changed it before he was born.) I thought the name would be professional sounding when he grew up, but yet cute while he was young. Whatever name you two choose, make sure it's a name they can grow up with.

I like Carter. That's a cool name. Here are some others that might work:
Evan, Logan, Liam, Ashly, Zachary, Ian, Jordan or Hunter.

Ian could be an spectacular call. it rather is very hardship-free to spell, and is a Scottish call for John. out of your checklist even nonetheless, Logan seems an spectacular call. maybe some subject to think of of roughly isn't doubling up on letters, so names beginning up with A,E,J,D or ok (and the initials of your mom and pa maybe) could be shrink from the checklist.
