I'm 44, my only child is grown, and I have more time now to consider dating. I just can't find anyone to date! I was a single parent for 17 yrs, had multiple health issues, am doing better, but feel pretty isolated.

I would love to find a great companion. I live in a midsize town, yet there is really nothing to do here. It's spread out and quite boring :) I'm actually thinking of moving, but that's a whole other step in itself!
Any suggestions for a youthful progressive town with lots to do? Somewhere with of outdoor activities, water, music venues, and creative arts abundant?

I've gone on Match.com, but not impressed with it. EHarmony was a waste of money. Maybe there are tips I should know or other sites to meet quality people? [Not married ones, players, etc.] I guess you can't eliminate that'; that's life!
There aren't singles groups in my area, no park to go to,my church doesn't have any type of clubs related to this. I'm not from here, so friends are few.

Thanks!

Well what do you like to do in your spare time?? Do some volunteer work somewhere there are social gatherings of whatever you may like to do.That way the person you meet will have something in common with you. Try a bar or bowling, baseballfield, fleamarket, Well good luck kindra

With the start of the New Year, lots of people are looking to complete a fresh start, and have perhaps evaluated their relationship status with a view to making a number of changes.

One of the suggested dating website for singles dating is: http://www.freedatingsitesinusa.us 100% FrEE to be a member.

With the increasing popularity of internet internet dating, it has become easier than ever to identify a new partner. This article looks at online dating service from a beginner's mindset.

The previous incarnation of what became online dating services was probably the classified adverts inside local newspaper. People who used them were often thought of as desperate, but for some reason the same social stigma does not seem to exist with online courting. Perhaps this is more to do with modern society than everything else - when we need something, we want that now, and we aren't ready to wait. Internet dating sites certainly fulfill this need for immediate delivery.

For the newcomer to online dating sites, the best thing to do is choose among the bigger sites - that is easy enough, as the principle sites now all promote on TV. Pick one who allows you a free trial offer, as this will allow you to see if there are plenty of other members in your neighborhood. You will need to pay money to have the full benefits of regular membership, but hopefully you will not a member for lots of months...

Start a club yourself - maybe like a literary club where you'd attract a certain kind of group- environmental activities etc. You're in a difficult situation because of where you live and that is why I'm suggesting you initiate something yourself. Big city life is crazy- you'll meet too many loonies and still feel isolated! Good luck!
