it a problem with your own connection, if it is wireless there may be something intereing with the signal, if you are plugged in, check to make sure your cord is securely plugged in as loose wiring can cause you to lose your connection.

If your brother's computer works fine but yours doesn't I doubt it's the fault of at&t.
I'm guessing that you're using your laptop via a wireless connection. You just MIGHT be a bit far from the main router, which COULD break your internet connection.
Your options?
I see 3 of them.
1) Play your game in the same room as your router.
2) Connect to the router via a cable.
or
3) Head to your local computer store and purchase a signal booster so that you receive a stronger signal downstairs where you play.
Good luck.

Hi. Do you have a wireless router (the 'box thingy'). If so, make sure the signal is strong, try moving your laptop. If it is wired you may have to change some settings. Try www.pcpitstop.com and they will suggest improvements. Good luck with Runescape!
