In 1996 i had a recurrence of cancer which metastisized spreading to my lower abdoman, my right lung and left kidney. I had a 7 1/2 hr surgery and they couldn;t get it all. I was told that I needed a stem cell augmuous trasplant (two) and two rounds of high dose chemotherapy. Before leaving to go to Indianapolis Indiana University Medical Center and being admitted to North 5 Transplant Center in intensive care, I had the elder's of the church pray over me and annoint me with oil. This made my faith in God stronger. The treatments were very harsh and debilitating and my chances of survival were 40-50%. I always knew that I would make it and on Dec 21st, 1996 I was declared cancer free and have been thankful to the Good Lord ever since.

This is not about me but about what bluedevil experienced.
I did not know him when he went through the toughest fight of his life -- but he was brave and courageous through it all and made it to victory with the grace of God. That is part of what makes him my toughguy and the man I love . And I thank the Lord every day that he brought him through and we were blessed enough to meet each other.

in the future I will have to tell my father who is just getting out of jail who loves me alot that I dont want to live with him and wouldnt be hurt if he wasnt in my life
